Taking a Builder’s Grade home and making it look like Custom Build doesn’t have to be hard. Here are a few areas to target that will make a huge impact on giving your home a custom look.

•Mirrors- Changing the size and shape of your mirrors will add interest in your bathrooms. If you can’t remove the existing mirror without damaging the walls try to add a frame around it to give it a more custom look.

•Woodworking & Moldings- Trim work can really bring a home to the next level. That could be by adding built-ins or an accent wall, either way it adds personality to your space. If you are changing out crown moldings or baseboards go with a larger size to give your home a more modern look.

•Lighting- Lighting is one of the best ways to add personality to your home. Make sure you mix it up with a combination of chandeliers, pendants, sconces and can lights. When doing a bathroom or kitchen don’t forget the under cabinet lighting.
